Machine embroidery is a precise and accurate form of embroidery; it allows for the creation of intricate and detailed designs that would be difficult to achieve by hand whilst offering endless creative possibilities!

On this course we will look at incorporating creative, organic elements into your machine embroidery and you’ll develop and explore your new found skills by working on your own project.

With tutor support you’ll work on your own, unique designs and complete a personalised sewing case for yourself or to give as a gift.

The possibilities with machine embroidery are endless, and the techniques you’ll learn on this course will enable you to explore your own creativity!

What will I learn?

You will learn:

  • how to design, plan, cost out and complete a project of your choice
  • how to develop appliqué techniques to enhance your design ideas.
  • how to personalise your designs
  • what fabrics, techniques and threads to use for the best results
