The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. You will need to attend an adviser meeting prior to enrolment on this course.You should have either successfully completed our introduction to counselling level 2 certificate course or have an equivalent level 1 qualification. You will also need a good level of English skills.
You will need an A4 ring binder, notebook and pen. You will need to have access to a computer and the internet outside of the course (we may be able to help you with this).
You will be taught and supported by an experienced tutor and will take part in a range of activities including group work and individual work. You will be asked to carry out work and research away from the classroom to ensure you gain the required skills and knowledge to achieve. Attendance at sessions is important to make sure you are successful.
When you have successfully completed all coursework you will receive the NCFE counselling skills level 2 certificate.
After successfully completing this course you and your tutor will discuss your progression options including deciding if progression to our counselling skills level 3 course is right for you.
