The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.
If you’re concerned about visiting one of our centres, please get in touch so we can discuss it with you.
Enthusiasm to learn more. You do not need any previous knowledge of the subject to take part. Suitable for parent/carers with their children aged five to eleven years old.
You should bring an old t-shirt, shirt or other garment you no longer need to use as the basis for your costume. Please come along with some ideas of what you would like to make.
This course will be delivered by an experienced tutor. The sessions will include presentations as well as group/ individual activities and exercises.
On this course you and your child will learn some of the techniques of up-cycling old garments and turning them into something new.
Once you’ve attended this session you’ll be in a position to decide whether you wish to continue to learn more about costume making for school events or parties. You will also find out more about some of our other family learning and adult learning courses that you may be interested in.
You can find more information on the Financial help and additional support page or you can contact us to talk about this and any other support we can provide.
