What are you doing to keep learners safe?

The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.

What do I need to join the course?

Enthusiasm to learn more! You do not need to have any previous experience or knowledge of craft to join this course.

What do I need to bring with me to the first session?

All craft materials will be supplied on the day. You may want to bring along a notebook and pen for any notes that you want to make.

How will I be taught?

You will be taught by an experienced tutor and will take part in a range of activities including demonstrations, group and individual practical work.

What will I learn?

You will learn some of the techniques involved in making felt flowers and you will create your own mini felt flower project to take away on the day. You will also start to understand how to use some of the craft tools, templates and patterns safely and correctly.

What could I do next?

After successfully completing this course you and your tutor will discuss your progression to further develop your crafting skills, you may choose to progress to the getting started with felt flowers course.
