You will learn about positive behaviour management and how to implement strategies to support learners’ behaviour in ways that will help them gain the most from teaching, learning and assessment. This will include learning different ways to communicate effectively with children and young people, discovering different behavioural psychology theories and analysing real-life scenarios.
You will also learn when to deal with difficult situations yourself and when to involve other colleagues.

You do not need any prior knowledge to join this course, just an interest in the subject.
As the course is being delivered virtually through Microsoft Teams you will need to ensure that you are able to connect to the internet, have a web browser (e.g. Google chrome, Microsoft Edge) and are able to follow the links to take part in the virtual activities. This will include having some basic computer skills, including being able to use a keyboard and mouse.
