Do you want to be able to change negative thoughts into positive thinking? Do you or someone you know, suffer from low self-esteem and self-confidence? If so then come along to this try course and find out more about ways to boost your self-confidence and become more assertive. You will also have the opportunity to find out more about our adult learning centres and meet some of our team.

What are you doing to keep learners safe?

The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.

What do I need to join the course?

A desire to learn more. You do not need to have any previous experience or knowledge of this subject to join the course.

What do I need to bring with me to the first session?

Please bring along a notebook and pen. We are following safety guidelines so, at the moment, we are unable to provide these for you.

How will I be taught?

You will be taught by an experienced tutor and will take part in a range of activities including demonstrations, group and individual practical work.

What will I learn?

You will learn some of the skills and techniques that will help you to become more assertive, improve your self-esteem and boost your self-confidence

What could I do next?

Once you’ve attended this course you’ll be in a position to decide whether you wish to continue to learn more about self esteem and confidence building or perhaps try a different adult learning course. Our centre staff will give you more information about this; we offer a range of courses that you may be interested in such as craft, art, drawing, paper sculpture, as well as computer and ICT, English, maths and employability skills.
