Course details

Do you currently manage people (or aspire to) and wish to improve team performance and engagement? This course explores key areas involved in helping a team develop a common sense of purpose and outlines the importance of clear organisational goals. Learning will also benefit managers implementing Council’s visions, values and behaviours. It will encourage thinking about effective communication approaches and assessing your own strengths/weaknesses. Motivating a team is key to effective management so will highlight different models and approaches (to encourage thinking about needs /desires of individual team members) and how to get the best from people.
