What are you doing to keep learners safe?

The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.

If you’re concerned about visiting one of our centres, please get in touch so we can discuss it with you.

What do I need to join the course?

You should be able to turn your device on and off and connect to wifi. You may benefit from having attended our getting started with tablets and smartphones course. It will be helpful if you have your own tablet or smartphone, but if not, just let us know when you enrol and you can use one of ours in each session./p>

What do I need to bring with me to the first session?

We recommend that you bring a notebook and a pen and your tablet or mobile phone if you wish to use it. All of our classrooms have free wifi.

How will I be taught?

This course will be delivered by an experienced tutor in one of our computer suites. The sessions will include demonstrations as well as group activities and individual exercises. You may wish to carry out work outside the classroom to help you practise and apply the skills and knowledge that you gained.

What will I learn?

You will learn to:

• take photos, save them and open them from your gallery
• rotate, resize and crop photos
• add fun effects and frames
• record video clips, save them and open them from your gallery.

What could I do next?
