Move your photography to the next level and pick up expert tips and tricks for architectural photography. You will start to explore histograms; how to read them and how they can be useful for your photographic needs. Develop your knowledge of lenses and the different dimensions that these can add to the specific type of photographic styles that suit your interests.

What are you doing to keep learners safe?

The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.

If you’re concerned about visiting one of our centres, please get in touch so we can discuss it with you.

What do I need to join the course?

You may benefit from having attended the developing photography skills course.

What do I need to bring with me to the first session?

You will need a notebook and pen. You should also bring your own digital camera (DSLR, bridge or manual compact camera).

How will I be taught?

You will be taught and supported by an experienced and enthusiastic tutor, take part in a range of activities including demonstrations, group and individual work and receive support for your own ideas.

What will I learn?

On the course you will:

  • receive expert tips and tricks for architectural photography
  • discover histograms and learn about the benefits these can have on your photography projects
  • learn about different lenses and the results that these can have on your chosen subject matter.

What could I do next?

You may wish to develop your skills further with our extending photography skills course. Your tutor will provide more information about this at the end of your course.
