What do I need to join the course?

This course is ideal for those who have attended our series of photography courses, including getting started with, developing, moving on with and extending photography skills. If you have not attended this series of courses, but are a competent photographer already, then please contact us for a discussion as to whether this workshop will be suitable.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You will need a notebook and pen. You should also bring your own digital camera (DSLR, bridge or manual compact camera). The tutor will advise you in week one, of any further resources you may need to display your work.

How will I be taught?

You will be supported and guided by an experienced and enthusiastic tutor and take part in a range of activities including demonstrations, group and individual work.

What will I learn?

On this course you will build your own portfolio of work and build on your existing skills, learning more about photography skills and techniques.

What could I do next?

You may wish to consider some of our other courses such as knitting, dressmaking, crochet, mindfulness and self-esteem and confidence building or computer skills, English, maths and employability courses. Your tutor and the Centre staff will be able to give you information about your options during the course.
