If you watch shows like ‘Changing Rooms’ and wonder how you could get started creating your own unique spaces, or you just want to give your living room a bit more pizzazz this free Try interior design course is the perfect place to start.
On this two hour session you’ll start to explore colours, mood boards, textures and lighting that can be used to create the mood and effects that you are looking for. And if you want to learn more then you’ll have the opportunity to find out about longer, more in-depth courses that we offer.
What do I need to join the course?
Enthusiasm! No prior knowledge of interior design is required to take part in this course.
What do I need to provide for the first session?
You might like to bring a notebook and pen with you.
How will I be taught?
This course will be delivered by an experienced tutor. The session will include explanations as well as group activities and individual work.
What will I learn?
On the course you will learn how to use a colour wheel – a great tool that will help you decide on a harmonious colour scheme. You will also find out how to mix and match colour schemes using fabric, paint, prints and pattern.
What could I do next?
Once you’ve attended this course you’ll be in a position to decide whether you wish to continue to learn more about interior design. If so then you may wish to progress to one of our Getting started with Interior design course. Your tutor will give you more information about this in the session.
