What do I need to join the course?

No experience is needed to join this session.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

Bring paper and pen for taking notes.

How will I be taught?

Your learning will be supported by an experienced tutor through small and large group discussions, video clips, and reading materials. You will also be invited to develop your skills and understanding through wider research.

You will be given the opportunity to have one to one tutorials with your tutor to discuss personal progress.

What will I learn?

On this course, you will learn:

• to understand job outlines and employee specifications and ensure your personal profile is tailored to meet requirementshave a STAR example or two prepared for your interview
• how to complete or create a CV and covering letter
• how to complete online application forms

Your personal adviser will meet with you to talk about your best next options as part of your course.
