Thai cuisine is known for its delicate balance of flavours, with sweet and spicy elements combining to create the most delicious, mouthwatering dishes.

Join us in our well equipped kitchen to learn how to make several classic Thai dishes in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You’ll discover how the different flavours work together to create a perfectly balanced taste experience, giving you the skills to experiment with your own Thai style meals.

Home cooked Thai food will wow friends and family, whether you’re presenting it at a dinner party or just encouraging the kids to try something different.

What do I need to join the course?

Just an enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to have a go.

What do I need to provide for the session?

Please bring an apron with you and containers with lids to take home what you make. You will also need to bring with you the following ingredients:

Thai fishcakes

  • 250g white fish fillets
  • ¼ red pepper
  • 1 red chilli
  • 2 spring onions
  • 60ml (4 tbsp) Coconut milk
  • 60g green beans

Easy Thai green chicken curry

  • 1 packet of skinless, boneless chicken thighs (6 thighs)
  • ½ a 400ml tin coconut milk
  • handful green beans, sprouting broccoli or mangetout

Thai cucumber and peanut salad (optional)

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1shallot or spring onion
  • 11tbsp chopped coriander

What will I learn?

Our tutor will guide you through the processes of preparing these Thai dishes, giving you the confidence and skills needed to make them again at home. You will also learn some useful tips and tricks on how to present your dishes and also learn about the nutritional and cost benefits of home cooking.
