Course details

You can use a modern electric sewing machine to create all sorts of incredible garments and furnishings, with beautiful embellishments and decorative stitches. But before you can learn all that it’s vital to start at the beginning, with the very basics.

That’s why we’ve created this FREE short course to get you started. It’s perfect if you’d like to try one of our more advanced sewing courses but have no experience – or if you have a machine at home that’s gathering dust because you don’t know what to do with it.

You’ll learn what all the different parts of a sewing machine are for, and what you need to do with them – like threading the needle, filling the bobbin and adjusting tension.

We can’t promise you’ll be sewing like a pro by the end of the session – but you’ll have a great knowledge foundation to build on.
