During this conversational Spanish course we will be focusing on developing your language and grammar skills on the theme of travelling. Over the six weeks you will learn vocabulary about transportation and accommodation types and be able to confidently describe your holiday, your journey and the weather.

There are lots of reasons that you might choose to learn to speak Spanish, whether it be for travel, employment, leisure, family connections or research. So if you’re heading to a Spanish speaking country on holiday or for business, or have Spanish family and friend connections and want to start to hold simple conversations, this improvers’s course is for you.

This course is part of our conversational Spanish for improvers’ programme which will enable you to develop your knowledge and improve your basic grammar in Spanish on the theme of travelling. You can join at any stage of our improvers’ programme but you must have some basic vocabulary knowledge.

What will I learn?

During the course you will learn to hold basic conversations in Spanish on a range of topics such as booking accommodation, buying tickets to get around on public transportation, reporting a problem during your stay or making simple requests. You will also develop your grammar skills so you can talk about your holiday. There will be plenty of opportunities to practise the language in an active and fun way.
