Move your photography to the next level and pick up expert tips and tricks for architectural photography. You will start to explore histograms; how to read them and how they can be useful for your photographic needs. Develop your knowledge of lenses and the different dimensions that these can add to the specific type of photographic styles that suit your interests.

What will I learn?

During the course you will:

  • receive expert tips and tricks for architectural photography
  • discover histograms and learn about the benefits these can have on your photography projects
  • learn about different lenses and the results that these can have on your chosen subject matter

What do I need to join the course?

You should already have some basic photography skills. Whilst you may benefit from having attended the Digital photography for beginners Fundamentals and Functions and the Modes, Meters and Moods courses this is not essential.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You will need a notebook and pen. You should also bring your own digital camera (DSLR, bridge or manual compact camera).

What could I do next?

You may wish to develop your skills further with our further photography courses. Your tutor will provide more information about this at the end of your course. You may also consider some of our other Adult Learning courses such as dressmaking, machine embroidery, soft furnishings, interior design, creative writing and poetry and mindfulness or computer skills, English, maths and employability courses.
