Do you feel like you often accept second best or just don't have the drive to bring about personal change? Would you like to learn how to change your mindset to be more positive and proactive? On this free two-hour course, you will explore the principles of mental toughness and take the first steps in identifying the barriers that are holding you back.

What will I learn?

You will explore the fundamental concepts behind mental toughness and you will be able to make a decision as to whether to progress to further learning in this subject area.

If you are looking for work or aiming for a change of role, then your tutor will also make you aware of the employability programmes we have available to support you in achieving your employment goals.

What do I need to join the course?

Just an enthusiasm to learn! No experience is needed.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

We recommend that you bring a notebook and a pen.

What could I do next?

You may wish to progress to our Mental Toughness and You course. We also offer Health and Social Care courses, courses in Child behaviour, Counselling, Self Esteem and Confidence Building, and Mindfulness; your tutor will discuss the options with you during your time on this course.
