What do I need to join the course?

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude! You should understand a little bit about the basics of using a Smartphone or Tablet and sending/receiving emails. This course is suitable for if you want to know what more you can do with your emails on your Smartphone or Tablet. If you want to learn about the basics first, you could try out our Managing Emails on Your Smartphone or Tablet: Discovery session.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You might find it useful to bring your own smartphone or tablet along to the session so that we can help you with using your very own device. We do have some tablets available in our centre for you to use if you do not have your own. You might also find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to make some notes to help with your learning. If you already have an email address, it would be helpful for you to know the email address and password for the account.

What could I do next?

You can choose to complete some of our other digital courses to improve your digital skills. As a next step, you could choose to improve your knowledge of communicating on your device or understand how to use entertainment features, by attending some of our other smartphone and tablets courses. Speak to one of our friendly members of the team to find out more.

Can we help you to learn?

You can find more information on the Financial help and additional support page or you can contact us to talk about this and any other support we can provide.
