This friendly class is for learners who are new to English or have just started learning. You will practise speaking and listening to help with everyday English. We will work together in a relaxed group to build your confidence using simple words and sentences.

You do not need to speak much English to join – we will help you learn step by step.

What will I learn?

In this class, you will:

  • Practise everyday conversations (e.g., greetings, asking questions, shopping, appointments)
  • Learn new words and simple sentences to use in daily life
  • Improve your listening skills and understanding
  • Build confidence speaking in a group

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Say short sentences about yourself and others
  • Ask and answer simple questions
  • Understand basic information from spoken English
  • Speak more confidently in English in everyday situations

You must be 19+ to join this course and be committed to attending all of the sessions.

We recommend that you bring a notebook and a pen.
