ADHD, short for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a term you might be hearing more and more often, but what does it actually mean? If you’d like to find out, sign up to this three-hour session to gain an understanding of this neurodiverse condition and learn all about how it can affect individuals in terms of their life, learning and work. We recommend that you bring a notebook and a pen.
You may progress to one or more of our other short neurodiversity courses, such as Understanding Neurodiversity, Understanding Dyslexia, Understanding Dyspraxia or Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder.
You might also like to learn about mental health by enrolling on one of our qualifications, such as the Level 1 Award in Mental Wellbeing, Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness or Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.
Alternatively, you may decide to explore our wider course offer, which includes subjects like mindfulness, mental toughness and confidence building, as well as qualifications in English, maths and digital skills.
