During this Conversational Spanish course we will be focussing on the theme of travelling. You will find out how to book accommodation, buy tickets to get around on public transport, and ask for help at the tourist information centre.

There are lots of reasons that you might choose to learn to speak Spanish, whether it be travel, employment, leisure, family connections, or research. So, if you’re heading to a Spanish speaking country on holiday or for business, or have Spanish family and friend connections and want to start to hold simple conversations, this beginner’s course is for you.

This course is delivered via virtual learning on Microsoft Teams and is part of our Conversational Spanish for Beginners programme. It is suitable for complete beginners, as well as those wishing to re-cap on the basics. You will learn some basic Spanish on the theme of travel and accommodation. You can join at any stage of our programme.

What will I learn?

On this course you will learn:

  • to recognise and say the names of a range of hotel facilities
  • to book hotel accommodation and facilities of your choice
  • about different forms of transport and how to use these to get around.
