The course also teaches you how to craft effective surveys, develop targeted questions to address specific problems, and create and distribute digital surveys to gather valuable insights. Finally, you'll design a detailed action plan with clear steps and timelines for monitoring, tracking, and evaluating your projects.

As well as working in groups, you will benefit from regular time working with your tutor, discussing your progress and planning your next steps. They will also tell you about all of the other great opportunities that you have access to including help with developing your skills, joining one of our creative skills classes or sessions to improve your health, wellbeing, confidence or resilience. If you are looking for work or aiming for a change of role, then your tutor will also make you aware of the employability programmes we have available to support you in achieving your employment goals.

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude! You would also benefit from having some experience with navigating the internet using your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC, although this is not essential. If you would like to brush up on your internet skills first, talk to one of our friendly members of staff about our wide range of digital skills courses.
You might find it useful to bring your own smartphone or tablet along to the session to access the internet at certain points in the session. We do have some tablets available in our centre for you to use if you do not have your own. You might also find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to make some notes to help with your learning.
