What will I learn?

On this course, you will learn:

• How to identify the need for a project by finding and analysing a range of data about the local area.
• How to create a digital questionnaire to gather the thoughts of others and use these as part of data gathering to determine baselines and evaluate impact.
• How to create a clear plan of action with identified steps for monitoring the progress of the project, as well as evaluating the impact of the project.

What do I need to join the course?

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude! You would also benefit from having some experience with navigating the internet using your smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC, although this is not essential. If you would like to brush up on your internet skills first, talk to one of our friendly members of staff about our wide range of digital skills courses.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You might find it useful to bring your own smartphone or tablet along to the session to access the internet at certain points in the session. We do have some tablets available in our centre for you to use if you do not have your own. You might also find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to make some notes to help with your learning.
