Additionally, you'll learn to use forms appropriately and upload files to grant funding websites. What will I learn?

On this course, you will learn:

  • How to review your grant funding application to check that it meets requirements and suggest improvements where needed.
  • How to respond to feedback from a tutor and from peers to make improvements to an application.
  • How to use forms to complete an application and upload files where appropriate.

What do I need to join the course?

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude! You should be interested in finding out more about grant funding and whether this suits your community group/voluntary organisation.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You might find it useful to bring your own smartphone or tablet along to the session to access the internet at certain points in the session. We do have some tablets available in our centre for you to use if you do not have your own. You might also find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to make some notes to help with your learning.

What could I do next?

You can choose to attend some of our learning in other subject areas. You may be interested in improving your Maths, English, or Digital skills, by attending one of our accredited courses in these areas, or alternatively you might choose to develop some specific digital skills by attending some of our short sessions, such as Managing Emails on your PC/Laptop.
