Cooking your own fresh food can be cheaper, healthier and tastier than ready-made meals – but it can be a real challenge to get things just right. If you want to learn how to make some delicious home-cooked Indian food – with all the benefits that entails – then you’ve come to the right place.
On this session in our fully kitted out kitchen one of our expert tutors will walk you through creating an amazing vegetable biriyani (which you can add meat to if you like). You’ll learn all about the different blends of herbs and spices you can use to get the perfect flavour, and it’s a great way to use up any spare vegetables you might have.
Our tutor will also demonstrate how to make paneer, which is a soft, fresh Indian cheese that you’ll learn how to spice to your liking, and some light pancakes that are perfect to wrap it in.
Throughout the session you’ll discuss what you’re doing, and more importantly why – so by the end you’ll be full of ideas to modify and change the recipe to make it perfect for you.
You’ll even get your own recipe card that you can refer back to when you want to make this delicious dish again – and of course you’ll get to take what you’ve made home with you to enjoy eating.
You will need any some basic cookery skills to join this course.
Please bring an apron and containers to take your dishes home with you.
All ingredients will be provided for the session.
