This hands-on course invites you to explore the art of pottery, learning techniques at your own pace in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Learn simple hand-building techniques, experiment with texture and decoration, and shape your own unique ceramic pieces ready for kiln firing. With expert tutor guidance and plenty of room for personal expression, you’ll leave with a renewed sense of creativity, calm, and connection.
On the pottery for beginners course, you will learn essential hand building techniques of pinching, coiling and slab building to shape clay. You will also explore a range of decorative techniques which add texture to personalise your creations. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll create both your technical skills and creative expression. On this course you’ll leave feeling inspired and relaxed through clay.
