Join us for a free two-hour family learning session where you and your child can enjoy some festive fun while learning basic craft skills to create beautiful Christmas decorations. More importantly, this session offers a wonderful opportunity to work together and strengthen your communication skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Your children must be between 5 and 11 years of age.

What will I learn?

In this free two-hour family learning session, you will learn some basic craft skills to create Christmas decorations. More importantly you will work cooperatively with your child and test your skills of effective communication.

How much will it cost?

This course is funded through Tailored Learning with the purpose of supporting children’s learning. Through this funding, we can offer the course free of charge.

They will also tell you about all of the other great opportunities that you have access to including help with developing your skills, joining one of our creative skills classes or sessions to improve your health, wellbeing, confidence or resilience. If you are looking for work or aiming for a change of role, then your tutor will also make you aware of the employability programmes we have available to support you in achieving your employment goals.

Our team will be there to support you at every step of your journey and we always welcome your feedback to help us ensure that you feel safe, happy, supported and welcome.

What do I need to join the course?

No experience is necessary! Just bring your imagination and a willingness to get stuck in!

This course is suitable for parents/carers/guardians and their children aged between 5 and 11 years of age. Please note that children must be always supervised by their parents/carers/guardians.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

All resources will be provided.
