Starting on 09 Nov 2026 and running until 09 Nov 2026
This course aims to equip emergency first aiders with the knowledge and skills to control an incident until the designated first aider, emergency services or qualified medical help arrives.

By the end of this session you will leave with the confidence to help in the event of a sudden illness or accident whilst at work. People at work can suffer injuries or be taken ill; it is crucial to give them immediate attention and call an ambulance in serious cases. This can save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming major ones.

An emergency first aider’s role is to maintain life and prevent the situation from worsening while waiting for the emergency services to arrive whereas a first-aider should be able to recognise and diagnose injuries and illness, as well as understanding how to administer emergency treatment and life support.

It is recommended that the Emergency First Aid 1 day course is refreshed every 3 years.
