Step into a world of creativity, calm and connection with our Still Life - Flowers opportunity. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, these relaxed and welcoming sessions will guide you through creating still life artwork through observation of flowers, helping you explore colour, composition and techniques in a friendly, no-pressure environment using different art materials.
You’ll leave not only with your own artwork but also with a renewed sense of confidence, mindfulness and inspiration. Come along, meet like-minded people and rediscover the joy of creating - just for you.
During this course you will develop the skills and confidence to create your own still life artwork inspired by a beautiful floral arrangement. You will learn how to observe shape, proportion, tone and colour to accurately capture the natural forms in front of you. Through guided demonstrations and practical activities, you will explore drawing and painting techniques, colour mixing, brushwork and texture to create depth, light and atmosphere in your artwork.
You will experiment with a variety of art materials and surfaces, discovering both traditional and expressive approaches to still life. By viewing the arrangement from different angles and exploring your own artistic style, you will gain confidence in making creative choices and producing artwork that is uniquely your own.
Whether you are new to art or looking to develop your existing skills, this friendly and supportive course will encourage you to experiment, enjoy the creative process and leave with techniques you can continue to use at home.
