What will I learn?

On this course you will learn how to:

• Describe the steps to take to stay safe online whilst job searching
• Demonstrate how to use basic digital tools such as browser navigation and search functions
• Upload and download documents
• Navigate job-search websites
• Create and log in to an online account needed for job searching.
• Upload a CV to a job-search website and how to save/update versions.
• Set up job alerts based on keywords and locations.

If you are looking for work or aiming for a change of role, then your tutor will also make you aware of the employability programmes we have available to support you in achieving your employment goals.

What do I need to join the course?

You don’t need any qualifications or experience to join this course. Before you start you will have a chat with one of our advisors to make sure this is the right course for you.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You will need to bring a notebook and pen, as well as details of your education and employment history.
