Do you have a camera but always use it on the automatic setting? Have you ever wondered how you could take even better photographs?
Whether you're simply curious about photography or thinking about joining one of our beginner courses, this friendly taster session is a great place to start. In a relaxed and supportive environment, you'll explore a few simple techniques, discover how small changes can improve your photographs and get a flavour of what our photography courses have to offer.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet your tutor, ask questions and find out about the progression opportunities available, helping you decide whether you'd like to continue your photography journey with us.
During this workshop, you will be introduced to some of the basic principles of photography and explore simple techniques that can help you take more effective photographs.
With guidance from an experienced tutor, you will gain an insight into what is covered on our beginner photography courses, discover ways to build your confidence and understand the progression opportunities available if you wish to continue learning.

Please bring your own camera with you. You might also find it useful to bring a notebook and pen.
