Ready to build on the basics? This friendly and supportive course is ideal if you've already completed our Spanish: Getting Started course or have a basic knowledge of Spanish. You'll develop greater confidence using the language in everyday situations, making it easier to communicate when travelling, meeting new people or exploring Spanish-speaking cultures.
During the course, you'll continue your language-learning journey in a relaxed and encouraging environment, building your confidence through enjoyable activities and practical conversation. Whether you're preparing for a holiday, learning for personal enjoyment or looking to challenge yourself, you'll leave feeling more confident and ready to take the next step in your Spanish learning.
What will I learn?
During the course, you'll expand your Spanish vocabulary in different topics like shopping, travelling, asking for directions or just talk about yourself. Also, you will continue to develop your pronunciation and build on your understanding of grammar in present tense and explore sentence structures. Through enjoyable activities and opportunities to practise with others, you'll gain the confidence to hold longer conversations, understand more spoken and written Spanish, and communicate more naturally in everyday situations.

What do I need to join the course?
This course is suitable for learners who have completed our Spanish: Getting Started course or who already have a basic knowledge of Spanish. You should be familiar with simple greetings and introductions, along with some everyday vocabulary such as numbers, food and drink, hobbies and common expressions, and be ready to build on these skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
What do I need to provide for the first session?
You may wish to bring a notepad and a pen, to take notes.
What could I do next?
On completion of a set of 5 courses, you can progress to Spanish: Improvers, where you'll continue to develop your vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills, building greater confidence in communicating in Spanish.
