Love the smell and taste of freshly baked bread? This fun and practical taster session is a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves and have a go at making your own.
There’s something special about homemade bread, and during this session you’ll discover the satisfaction of creating three different varieties – leavened flavoured (flowerpot) bread, plaited soda bread and focaccia.
Working alongside your tutor, you’ll explore different bread-making techniques and learn more about the role of ingredients such as yeast and different flours, as well as how time and preparation can influence the finished bread.
You’ll pick up plenty of useful hints and tips along the way, helping you build the skills and confidence to continue baking at home. Best of all, you’ll take home what you make, along with recipe cards so you can recreate your favourites for family and friends.
No previous bread-making experience is needed - just come along and enjoy having a go!

No previous bread-making experience is required. This session is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who would like to build their confidence in making bread from scratch.
All ingredients and equipment will be provided. Please bring an apron.
