Get creative with some Halloween spirit, with a fun and friendly sewing workshop, where you’ll make your own Halloween bunting to bring out and enjoy year after year.
During the session, you will receive a Halloween bunting project kit, including some pre-cut flags - but you’ll also learn how to mark and cut, assemble and stitch bunting shapes before attaching them to bias binding or cotton tape to create a finished festive decoration.
You can also bring your own fabric if you would like to personalise your bunting.
You can continue working on your project after the workshop or use your new skills to make more seasonal decorations at home.
During the session, you’ll learn how to plan and make a length of Halloween bunting from fabric or felt. You’ll learn how to create and use a simple template, cut your fabric pieces, assemble your bunting flags and stitch them by hand or using a sewing machine.
You’ll also learn how to attach your bunting shapes to bias binding or cotton tape and add decorative details. The tutor will show you how the same techniques can be adapted to make more bunting at home for Halloween or other celebrations.
The course fees are shown at the top of this page.
