Course details

Do you have a digital camera but always use it on the ‘automatic’ setting? Do you want to know more about what all those other buttons are for or how you could get the best shots? Come along to this FREE try session and begin to discover how to take well composed and effective images of your family, friends and favourite places! You will also have the opportunity to find out more about our adult learning centres and meet some of our team.

What are you doing to keep learners safe?

The safety of our learners and staff is our top priority and we’ve made some big changes to our centres, from socially-distanced training rooms to staggered start times. Although things will look different, our staff will be as friendly and helpful as ever and we’re really excited to welcome learners back.

If you’re concerned about visiting one of our centres, please get in touch so we can discuss it with you.

What do I need to join the course?

Enthusiasm to learn more! You do not need to have any previous experience or knowledge of photography to join this course.

What do I need to bring with me?

How will I be taught?

You will be taught by an experienced tutor and will take part in a range of activities including demonstrations, group and individual practical work.

What can this course lead to?

Once you’ve attended this course you’ll be in a position to decide whether you wish to continue to learn more about digital photography. If so then you may wish to progress to one of our other digital photography courses and your tutor will give you more information about this in the session. If you want to try a different subject then we offer a range of opportunities in computer skills, English, maths, employability, creative skills, retail, photography, supporting teaching and learning in schools and many more.

Can we help you to learn?

You can find more information on the Financial help and additional support page or you can contact us to talk about this and any other support we can provide.
