Your tutor will give you advice to support you with your next steps and they’ll also tell you about all of the other learning opportunities that you have access to, including help with developing your maths and English skills, joining one of our creative skills classes or sessions to improve your health, wellbeing, confidence or resilience. If you are looking for work or aiming for a change of role, then your tutor will also make you aware of the employability programmes we have available to support you in achieving your employment goals.

Should you decide that you’d like to learn more and work towards the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, you’ll be signposted to our Achieve Your English Goals sessions, where you’ll work with a friendly tutor to measure your English, maths and digital skills to make sure you’re ready for your next step. Your tutor will then work with you to help you decide which next step is right for you.
You may choose to join our Introduction to Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools course, where you’ll learn all about the range of responsibilities that might be expected of you in a school environment to prepare you for progressing towards your qualification and securing your school placement.
Alternatively, you may decide to brush up your English, maths or digital skills before progressing to the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification.
