Do you have a camera? Do you just use the automatic settings?

Perhaps you would like to take up photography as a self-employment option?

On this course we will show you how to can use the rules of composition to effectively capture and save those special moments and memories, whether it is portrait, landscape, still life, or action photography.

In these sessions you will meet like-minded people and be given guidance on using your digital camera and the rules of composition; you will be allowed plenty of time to practice and experiment with photography.

During each session your tutor will guide you through how best to use your camera’s functions to execute different photography styles.

With your tutor you’ll go out on field trips to capture landscapes and architecture and learn how to retrieve, save, share, and print your photography.

What will I learn?

During the course you will learn how to identify the buttons and different modes of your own camera, how to capture images using different compositional elements, and how to download, save, and print your images effectively.

We will look at the 5 rules of composition, portrait, and action photography.
