In this nautical-themed amigurumi crochet course, focused on techniques for relaxation and improved mental wellbeing, you will embark on a creative journey that combines the art of crochet with the therapeutic benefits of crafting.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to create adorable nautical-inspired amigurumi characters, such as cute little jellyfish, whimsical fishermen, and charming sea creatures. As you delve into the world of crochet, you will discover various techniques and stitches specific to amigurumi, including magic circles, double crochet, increases, decreases, and colour changes.
The course will also emphasise the importance of mindfulness and self-care, providing guidance on incorporating relaxation techniques into the crochet process, such as deep breathing exercises and focusing on the present moment. Basic crochet skills are required.
Please bring a crochet hook, size 4.5mm, a variety of colours of Aran weight yarn, safety eyes, and some kind of stuffing.
