Have you ever looked at a stunning photograph and wished you could capture similar images? Are you curious about the world of photography but unsure where to begin? The "Photography: The Basics" course is designed for aspiring photographers of all levels!

This beginner-friendly course will equip you with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to take your photography from snapshots to stunning visuals. In just 10 engaging hours, you'll gain a solid understanding of your camera, explore the art of composition, and start mastering the essential technical aspects of photography.

What will I learn?

On this course, you will learn how to:

  • Operate your camera with confidence and take control of your shots.
  • Apply composition techniques to create visually captivating photographs.
  • Understand the meanings of ‘aperture’, ‘shutter speed’, and ‘ISO’, and the impact these have on your images.
  • Save, share, and print your photos with ease.

What do I need to join the course?

Enthusiasm to learn more! You do not need to have any previous experience or knowledge to join this course.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You might find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to help you with your learning. You should also bring your own camera.

You may wish to develop your skills further with our additional photography courses. Your tutor will provide more information about this at the end of your course.
