What says Halloween more than a carved pumpkin or Jack-o'-lantern? Come along to this session with your child and create a one-off decoration to display in your home for the most spooky of celebrations!

You’ll work with the tutor to learn the skills needed to make these traditional decorations and replicate them at home.

This course is most suitable for parents/carers with children aged five to eleven years. All resources (including the pumpkin) will be provided.

What will I learn?

On this course you and your child will work together, using basic techniques, to make carved pumpkins/ Jack-o'-lanterns, which you can then take away and recreate at home.

How much will it cost?

This course is funded through Tailored Learning with the purpose of supporting children’s learning. Through this funding, we can offer the course free of charge.

What do I need to join the course?

This course is designed for parents and carers to work with their children: The course is most suitable for parents/carers with children aged five to eleven years.

Children must be supervised at all times by the accompanying adult. (Maximum of 2 children per adult).

What do I need to provide for the first session?

All resources will be provided.

Bring along aprons in case it gets messy! You will need a suitable container to take your pumpkin home in.
