What do I need to join the course?

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude! You should understand a little bit about the basics of using a smartphone or tablet to join this course. You should be able to navigate around your device and open applications. If you would like to learn more about this first, you might like to attend our Smartphones and Tablets: Getting to Grips.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

You might find it useful to bring your own smartphone or tablet along to the session so that we can help you with using your very own device. We do have some tablets available in our centre for you to use if you do not have your own. You might also find it helpful to bring a notebook and pen to make some notes to help with your learning.

What could I do next?

You can choose to complete some of our other digital courses to improve your digital skills. As a next step, you could complete our Smartphones and Tablets: Photo Editing course to find out more about how to improve images once you have taken them. You could also consider going to “Elevate Your Smartphone Photography” which will help you to improve your creative flair to capture eye-catching images using your phone.

Can we help you to learn?
