Creative writing is any form of writing that expresses thoughts and ideas in an imaginative way; it could be an epic science fiction novel set in an imaginary galaxy, it could be a romantic comedy set in modern-day New York, it can be flash fiction for online publication or anything in between. With creative writing, you’re in control and you’ve got the freedom to decide where your story goes.

This is a taster course designed to get you involved in having a go at creative writing, no matter whether it’s your first time or you’ve experimented before. To get the most out of your session, you should be willing to put pen to paper and learn something new.
We recommend that you bring your preferred writing equipment, such as a notebook and a pen.
