If you’re interested in taking up creative writing, but are not sure where to start, then this course could be the ideal opportunity you’ve been looking for to put pen to paper and experiment with different formats and styles of creative writing.
On this course, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about a range of styles and formats, such as short stories, scriptwriting and life writing, as well as poetry and children’s and young adult fiction. Your tutor will work with the group to identify methods and techniques for each area and will provide inspiration and ideas to help you to have a go at experimenting with each one.
In each session you’ll have the chance to share your work with other members of the group and to give and receive constructive criticism to help you to continue your development beyond the end of your course.

- Key techniques for using poetry in your work and writing in different styles.
