This hands-on cookery course is for anyone who loves delicious food – not just vegans and vegetarians. Cutting down on your meat intake can not only have some great health benefits, it’s also good for the environment and can save you money too.

On the course you’ll discover new ways to include a range of vegetables in your cooking, and learn about a whole host of dishes that just don’t need meat to be both tasty and nutritious. At the end of the session you’ll take home the dishes you’ve made along with recipe cards so you can start to experiment at home.

What will I learn?

You will participate in both group demonstrations and work alongside the tutor to practise the skills and techniques of preparing and making vegetarian and vegan food.

What is it like to learn with East Riding Adult Learning and Employability?
