Love the smell and taste of freshly baked bread? This fun and practical taster session is a great opportunity to have a go at making your own.

During the session, you’ll make three different breads – Cheese & Onion Loaf, Calzone and Sundried Tomato Bread – while discovering how different flours and ingredients can create different flavours and results.

You’ll work alongside your tutor, picking up useful hints and tips while building your skills and confidence. You’ll also receive copies of the recipes so you can recreate your favourites at home.

No previous bread-making experience is needed – just come along and enjoy having a go!

What will I earn?

During the session, you'll learn some of the basic techniques used in bread making while creating three different breads:

  • Cheese & Onion Loaf
  • Calzone / Pizza
  • Sundried Tomato Bread

You'll explore how different flours and ingredients affect the finished bread, practise simple preparation and shaping techniques, and pick up useful hints and tips to help you recreate the recipes at home.

No previous bread-making experience is required. This session is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who would like to build their confidence in making bread from scratch.

What do I need to provide for the first session?

All ingredients and equipment will be provided. Please bring an apron.
